About Jordyn!

My story begins in northern Maine. I grew up in a really small town in the middle of nowhere, but I was lucky to find the perfect fish in that small pond: my husband Jon, who I dated all through high school. It took us a long time after graduation to finally decide to settle down together, and once we did, we moved to Vermont, where Jon had found a new job and I found my calling as a stay-at-home mom. We've been married for five years now, and we have four children: Stella, who's 10, Sawyer, who's 6, Hudson, who's 2, and our new baby, Meela, who's 6 months old. We have a pretty full house, between the kids and our pets: two mixed-breed dogs named Roscoe and Lola and an ancient tabby cat named Bob. They all keep me pretty busy, but I do still find time for myself sometimes; when I have some down time, I like to read, take pictures of the plants and wildlife outside our door, work in the garden, and make scrapbooks. But the best times are family times: We have a lot of fun going camping, hiking, volunteering/advocating for environmental education, and just spending quality time with our family and friends.
